A Proud Moment for India!Maruti Suzuki has launched its very first electric car, the e-Vitara, and the green signal was given by none other than our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. The historic launch took place at Maruti’s Hansalpur Plant in Gujarat, which will now not only produce EVs for India but also export them to global markets. With this launch, India has officially become Maruti Suzuki’s Global Manufacturing Hub for electric cars
