FASTag Annual Pass: has officially been launched in India. It went live on 15th August, Independence Day. If you own a car, you can benefit from this pass. With it, private vehicle owners will get 200 toll-free trips on national highways and expressways by paying a one-time fee of ₹3,000 per year.
What is FASTag Annual Pass ?
The new FASTag Annual Pass gives private vehicles like cars, jeeps, and vans free travel on national highways and expressway toll plazas for one year or up to 200 trips (whichever comes first), without paying the regular per-trip FASTag toll charges.
How much does the FASTag Annual Pass cost?
The annual FASTag pass costs ₹3,000 per year and allows up to 200 toll crossings. It can be especially useful for frequent travelers, particularly those who drive on routes with high toll charges—because the higher the toll, the greater the savings under this annual pass.
Additionally, this pass spares you the trouble of repeatedly recharging FASTag. There is no chance that your FASTag will be blacklisted because of low balance during the covered journeys because it is prepaid.
How to Apply for FASTag Annual Pass?
- To activate the pass, go to the Rajmarg Yatra App (available on Android and iOS) or visit the official NHAI website.
- Log in using your FASTag credentials.
- Upload the required documents, such as the vehicle registration certificate (RC).
- Pay the ₹3,000 fee online through UPI, card, or net banking.
- Within 2 hours of payment and verification, the FASTag Annual Pass will be activated digitally.
- Once activated, you will receive a verification SMS.
